'Reasonable' is a subjective term. When every game released on Steam priced over $20 has these exact same threads complaining about paying too much, it comes off as rather spoiled and *itchy. The game is neither released nor do you know how much work was put into the game, but you believe it's overpriced already? Isn't that a little ridiculous?
If you were to complain about GTAV, AFTER HAVING demoed it, you'd be fair in being subjective over the price, in this case you are not.
As mentioned by someone else you could buy Diablo 3 for the same price, which not only has way more content it has better graphics, and multiplayer etc (aka many more and better features). Many people listed examples in the other posts. The fact is if I where to compare its genre to others, its on the high end for pricing. If I then compare its amount of features, (graphics level, mechanics, game play) to similar cases it is in the lower-middle level of quality. The fact is for its level of what advertised compared to its competition its overpriced. The fact is in this case it looks like a the company doesn’t have much experience marketing games, or b they are trying to capitalize on the success of the TV show.
And that not to say that a lot of steam users are spoiled, from huge sales, but really in this case if you do some research it is a bit over priced.
That being said There are games I will shell out 40$. $50, $60, even $70 on, however this is simply not worth it.
Edit: also this is a DS game, not pc, and get this for the non pc version you can get collectors edition for same price with a ton of extra stuff, so yeah we are also getting cheated....
