I use headphones already so that won't be the fix for me, cheers though appreciate the input.
;)
Do you use anything in particular for volume control or just the inbuilt windows one?
I have Realtek HD audio manager but that just regulates default windows levels I think
To hopefully fix it, follow these instructions:
1. In the lower right of windows, right click the speaker icon and choose playback devices
2. Right click the device that has a green checkmark (default device)
3. Click on Configure Speakers
4. Set Audio Channels to Stereo and continue through the rest of the prompts
Re-launch the game, and hopefully you'll have normal audio :D
I appreciate the input but I'm actually already set to stereo. I spent a few years of my life doing sound production so I'm pretty great with all of the actual audio set-up haha
I was wondering if maybe it's a something software related or maybe a game .ini I can change or something.
Some googling has shown I'm not the only one with the issue but so far no fix
edit: it seems restarting my whole system somehow made it better, let's observe ...
