Oh yeah!!! Not long ago (2-3 years ago), i've heard the notice of a probable reboot/omikron 2 sequel but i just don't know if it's true or not.
I second that. Definitely a real game. I bought this on gog not too long ago (mac users, Paul the Tall has a wrapper for this). The mechanics are pretty archaic but not devoid of fun. Walking around from place to place and dealing with the camera angle changes is the hardest thing about it. The game has a hand to hand combat system that is surprisingly fun to play with...just do yourself a favor and customize the controls to something you are comfortable with.
If your a fan of nineties Bowie this game is worth it for the novelty alone. A lot of the songs featured in this game are on the Hours album, but this game features the original versions with the original lyrics. He rewrote a lot of the songs after the fact for his solo record.
David Cage is currently working on Beyond: Two Souls. The game with Ellen Paige and Willem Dafoe in it.
I linked this video and some others to my steamaccount now, they will probably not show up on the community page here, since i haven't bought it on steam (yet) :
