Am I the only one getting massive slowdowns during fights?
As the title says. Cinematics play just fine, but fights are extremely slowed down, especially if a super move is triggered. Audio is usually a second or 2 ahead of what's actually happening on screen, and button presses become mistimed thanks to the slowdown. Running on a laptop with a Core i7 @ 2.4ghz, 16 mb ram, and an nvidia gtx 780m with the most updated drivers. Can handle everything else I've thrown at it on max settings with no problem. Here I've lowered every graphic setting I could and it hasn't seemed to help at all.

Happening to me as well. Fix would be nice but I'm probably going to hold off on playing this a bunch until I get a gampad.

Apparently the game hasn't been working too well with nvidia drivers?

Sounds like the same "problem" that Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition for PC had...

The game *must* maintain a 60fps rate at all times. If it dips below 60fps, the game will visually slow down. This is because the same 60 frames are still being rendered, it's just taking the system longer to do so.

For example, if the game can only maintain a 45fps rate, a 25% slowdown will be realized. With 30fps the game speed will be cut in half!

Considering that Injustice and MK:KE share the same modified Unreal engine as their base, this isn't surprising. There were some ini hacks floating around for the latter game that essentially enabled a "frame skip" option of sorts to keep the action flowing smoothly. These could (and probably will) work for Injustice as well.

The downside with those occurred when the games frame rate went higher than what the frame skip was set as. Much like the illustrations above, if you chose the 45fps ini file and your game could reach 60fps at times, the game speed would increase 25% for as long as 60fps was maintained. If you used the 30fps ini file, game speed would effectively double if 60fps could be reached.

As for the cinematics not exhibiting the problem, I imagine they're identical to MK as well... pre-rendered videos that are not using the in-game engine. Does the overall quality of those look worse than the in-game visuals? If so, that's the explanation.

yes, those ini files are pretty much useless and as I can see, this game will require a i5 core PC as well as MK so yep... not buying it for now.

Doh, as it turns out for some reason the game doesn't use the video card by default and instead tries to use onboard graphics. Changing that in the NVidia control panel fixed the game for me and now it plays fine with settings pretty much maxed. Thanks for suggesting the problem was similar to MKKE, only got the idea to check that thanks to a similar thread in that game's forum.

lots are having this problem.

Figured others might be Huntem, thus why I posted what worked for me. Maybe it'll help someone else that's been affected. :D

I may have to bump my finding but I have found a way to "fix" this issue.

Open nVidia Control Panel > 3D Settings > Add Injustice > Scroll down VSYNC = OFF

The slow downed fights issue is most prevalent with people reporting they have the mobile version of the gpus GTX 770 vs GTX 770m.
