Nuclear Throne

PLEASE! Stop this update MADNESS!
Okay guys it's nice that the developers are still supporting this game, but it is not nice to have dozens and dozens of new versions popping up week after week. No one wants to watch the same bloody movie over and over again as it is incrementally changed over and over again. Especially since Steam makes it impossible to roll back to a earlier version. If something gets broken the game is down, and, worse, if the developers just decide to change something that makes the game less fun you are stuck with it, and the experience you loved is lost forever!

Also, remember the way buying products works in the real world. You examine the product (based on a demo or reviews or whatever), make the decision to buy it, and then you enjoy what you selected. This madness breaks that critical covenant upon all trade is based. It's like you bought a car, and you get up in the morning to find a different car in your garage! One in a color you hate. One that can no longer talk to you iPod. One that no longer has a back seat. And you CAN'T GO BACK to what you actually bought! I'm tired of playing with menus that don't work. I'm tired of things disappearing and changing. Stop it! FINISH THE GAME and RELEASE IT!!

Haha, you say as if finishing games was easy, the game is on Early Access for a reason, every Early Access game is bound to update every once in a while.
If by "experience you love is gone forever!" you mean as in, save data gets wiped every update, you can fix this by simply renaming the save file (C:/users/your_name/appdata/local/nuclearthrone), adding 10 to it (Sometimes 11 or 12) I.E. nuclearthrone 960, game updates, change to nuclearthrone 970. However, this doesn't always work as sometimes they change how the data is obtained in the game, and you have to look how to get everything back.

I don't know seems to me a huge number of other developers figured out how to get their game finished. Release sequels if you want to "try new things", but get this silly thing done! I'm just so tired of seeing "sorry about the menu" or "sorry about the multi-player" or "sorry about the sounds". Come on guys, finish this puppy up!

Some games are just easier to make than another, and as i said, by seeing the game was in Early Access you should've known the game was gonna have a lot of updates.
And rushing them won't do any better, that's why Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom sucked, they where rushed, we want a good quality game, not them to release it fast just because we want it right now.
ALSO, if they had to release a sequel for every new thing they wanted to try out, they would look like greedy, be thankful they give us free updates and no DLC ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
patience is a virtue, good things take time, the game is on no deadline that is important to our health, most of us appreciate the consistently regular, little updates with awesome bigger things peppered in now and then, you can't polish a turd, the game is already filled with so much content to make it more than worth the $11.99 it will cost when finished.

Select Patience a little more often, you don't always need this abrasive Rhino Skin

I mean essentially this is a simple arcade game. Graphics are simple, the game play is fairly simple. Not that it's a bad game... but it really isn't all that complex. We're not talking Skyrim open world here. Remember, they've been working on this for almost 2 years now. Week after week for 2 years. That sure seems to me to be be enough time for a team of developers to make a retro arcade game.

Stuff seems really simple by just looks, but from a Dev's perspective, is complex, i'm not really a Dev, but i've been working on a game, and seeing my game compared to Nuclear Throne, my game looks like some crap shovelware.

I hate new content and balancing every week, please break your promise to the community and leave us in the dark until your piece of ♥♥♥♥ game works
Be happy that Vlambeer is so generous involving us in the development process. Would you rather have a few new bugs every week, or the same old ones for months on end?

I'm sure that's true. I object to having it change without my consent. I object to not knowing what state it's going to be in when I go to play it. I object to not knowing what will be taken out.

If by that, you mean that you don't know what changes are made with every update, every time the game updates (which is usaully every saturday) an announcement is made alongside it, which says everything that was added in that update (in rare cases, they miss some stuff, either purposely or not)
Vlambeer is a company that takes pride in quality games. They've proven this time, and time again, and it's why they're such a loved group. This game still needs some balancing and changes (#Plzchangelilhuntertosomethingbetter), and as long as they need to do that, as well as other polishing, such as the menu, it will remain in early access.

To be honest, why are you even complaining? If it's unlocks the only one annoying to get is Horror. If something is bugged, they do their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ best to fix it as soon as possible. If something needs a nerf or a buff, even small ones for the sake of balancing, they do it (except Y.V.'s B ultra), and that will continue on a smaller degree even after it's released. Update's won't stop, since bugs will always turn up, so I really don't see the complaint at all.

This is a very interesting comment. It is nice that someone involves you in a creative process that is very true. It is also nice that they are pouring so much time and love into the product. The problem is I'm not sure that will result in a better game. I also hate having it change. I actually also bought the humble version so I do have an archive of old versions that I can run. But, I still want a finished product that I can examine before I buy it. I still want it not to change unless I allow it to. I still want to be able to go back to earlier versions.

I want it to be finished. Working all the way. I want the ability to control the versioning. I don't want to boot it up and the first thing I see is an apology.
