This game looks pretty interesting, stage backgrounds and bosses look great, but I'm more than a bit concerned about how "busy" the player sprite looks. In addition to being a human (non-standard) shape, there are excess guns all over the place. I've always tended to dodge more on the visual boundaries of the sprite than wherever the hitbox actually is because for a long time, the hitbox and outer boundaries of the sprite were one and the same. Wow, thanks for the 2.0 Update! I really like the new player character it looks great and suits the Deathsmiles vibe I get from the game a lot. Unfortunately I am having an even harder time to locate my hitbox when changing to the bottom shot now.
