MMORPG, I'm assuming? I only play free ones, so can only recommend F2P.

Guild Wars 2 is probably the best one I've played thus far. TERA, a close second.

Can't say I've really enjoyed any others, to be honest. Some started off okay (such as ArcheAge, ASTA, Revelation) but I soon became bored of them. Probably because at some point, those are open-PvP.

Wildstar is also pretty good (somewhat quiet, but no quieter than ArcheAge). Haven't gotten into the meat of it, but have enjoyed what little I've played.

Age of Conan or Guild Wars, but Archeage is terrible P2W garbage.

Guild Wars 2 does not have much of a population, neither does Tera nor age of conan. Archeage was very promising but they just did not develop it enough to realize its full potential. I could recommend others, but it's actually extremely hard to find an active, good MMO. The king of ♥♥♥♥ , that heaping pile of mountainous refuse blackholes all populations and destroys the competition for some reason.... yes I am talkign about WoW. :angrytiger:

Couldn't find Guild wars 2 on steam, is it a game you have to download ?

ESO is pretty decent, DDO is fun but you will need friends or a guild around 10th lvl as the quests become party centered.
Edit: Mech warrior online is fun but it is a teamwork based game that you will need a guild or what ever they call them in MWO to "git gud".

Elder Scrolls Online is decent, I have to admit. Would probly be my second choice, but it is not an amazing game. It's a game very similar to WoW just with ES theme and I would definitely get bored of it in not a huge amountof time. Black Desert is a good one, but it's simple, mainly grinding, and easy as hell. Best Waifu simulator I have ever seen, though, I will be getting it eventually just for that.

Yeah, it's not on Steam.

Don't let that sway your decision to play. It's still a great game. Better than all of the others, easily.

"Guild Wars 2 has not much of a Population" What the hell Bro?! You can't just lie into his face like that? Top 11 Servers are full the next 4 have a very high Population and the next 9 are High and I'm just talking about Europe! Base Server Capacity should be around 2k-3k players generally don't know the specifics tho.
ESO is similar to WoW? In what Regard Jesus Christ they're both Fantasy themed MMO's and that's about it with the Similarities.
Black Desert and Simple? I mean it might seem like it but if you didn't even play it yet please don't make such Assumptions.

It is extremely simple, a basic MMO. I played it for, roughly, 7-11 hours. Reviews also support that fact. However, it does have some excellent features and aspects to it. Superb character creater, great action based combat, quest auto pathing, etc. Like i said, would recommend trying it out.

Most " Similarities " between ESO and WoW are just Features that are common in almost every MMO and even those ESO Implements almost entirely different except from that the only other Similarity I can think of is the Self Containing Story.

BDO while the beginning is very Simple the Moment you get into Guild Content and PvP all the simplicity flies out of the Window.
That threw me off more than Warframe's "Tutorial"
