And for what it's worth you get to play around with a LOT more military-grade hardware, and if you play strategically enough, you can call in Drones for Recon (scans entire area without having to establish visual contact) or Hellfire Strikes.
Atleast it was during the summer sale.
Lifeline is a very good DLC to get if you want a challenge. It puts you on a clock AND makes combat losses debilitating. There aren't soldiers everywhere, and the most you will usually recruit is 1-2, only rarely 3. I completed Lifeline having only 12 personnel on base, and it was only just enough to make it.
You need every man on deck during a Siege, and by your third Siege, you'll know why.
The base game and Breakdown are more than enough of this game. Maybe next time if its on sale at 75% off, I'll pick up Lifeline.... maybe.
Or is it like the main game, that will end after i make the campain?
