Wasteland 2 Early Beta Update #39080 Notes
Wasteland 2 Early Beta build #39080 just went live. As usual, it will break all saves.

Please note for this release that:
Linux build has not been tested on a wide variety of platforms
The minimap has been taken out but we are planning to evaluate area map functionality down the line

High Profile Fixes:

The Titans have been released! A new area is available.
The vendor screen has been completely redesigned!
Tutorials have been added
New Mark Morgan tracks
Large balance pass on weapons and dropsets across the world
Large armor penetration pass on weapons and armor class pass on enemies
Many optimizations and compatibility fixes
Tons of new ambient tracks and in-world sounds added to all AZ levels
Ag Center/Highpool/Prison now unlocked from start
Ag Center and Highpool can both fall now
Reduced loading times across all scenes
HOTFIX: fixed infinite loading issue in certain areas

I hate to repeat myself, but, guys, so far so good but you really screwed up with the mini map. It's terribly hard to navigate in large wide areas without some sort of a local map, the only tool that kind of helped was the mini map, now it's gone..

Um.. is it just me or the loading scene sits forever when entering the city from World Map?? So far AG center and Wreckage stronghold.. I couldn't get in, tried to restart few times - same result.
Any suggestion??
I noticed a slight bug with the inventory. Sometimes when you are trading items between members it will lock up. You can exit the screen, do it again and it works just fine.

Sounds pretty serious. Contact us at support@inxile.net, including your output_log and dxdiag

output_log.txt is in the Steam install folder; Wasteland 2\Build\WL2_Data folder (it is an output log of all errors)

Generate dxdiag from in Windows\System32 or by going to Run -> dxdiag. Save all info and send us the resulting file.

Any reason why 1680x1050 isn't available? Couple more bugs I found in the Linux version.

Random crashes at encounters in the Arizona desert.
Missing textures at title screen and inside the game as well.
shadows create big black ares when moving (Radio Tower area).

So 1080pn and 1440p not being is because its 2014...
I promised myself to buy Wasteland 2 once it comes out for Linux, saw elsewhere and confirmed at the store that it is now listed coming out for Linux and immediately bought the game. Find that the installer disagrees, though ("Not available for your platform"). Not a big deal; likely a configuration issue (Store was updated before the installer was ready?). I can wait for Linux install; if needed, I do have my Windows partitiion for the interim. But I'm ready to test on a Kubuntu 14.04 install (just did the in-place upgrade from Kubuntu 13.10 today).
Had a event where enemy dead appear to be standing. This at highpool, I gernaded the wreckers near the mortar. Went in the house to help the gal protect her dowery, came back out to loot the enemy I had killed by mortar and they were standing up. All dead but standing.

The house in highpool proper that is burning as a result of the mortar attack, once quenched, and entering and exiting other structures there the fire sound persists. As if it was still burning.

Infected village shows up as a simple white outline that appears incomplete. It also persists in displaying it is a infected village even after I applied the serum to the water tank. Further assuming id goofed somehow I clicked it again and it used another dose of my precioussss serum.

Also Ag center runs like mud. I didnt have this problem before. Perhaps all the dripping goop can be dispensed with? We get its a warped place.
