I moved my steam apps to steam library folder with steam being installed to ssd. Launching game after verifying simply closes and steam syncs cloud with NO error message. Navigating to game install location (Steam Library) and clicking on .exe for MotoGP 13 says vcomp.dll is missing. Other threads suggest downloading the file from filesharing site is reported to work but i tried to use an old recovery image for windows to try out that suggestion and it did not work nor was there a vcomp100.dll file located in the sytem folder but was found in system32 folder. Far from what is described in the other threads i mention.
How can a game be verified if it has missing dependencies?
Installing the c++ as described above gets MotoGP 13 working. Thanks for sharing Pvt Bison.
