I need help at being a better shot

I've recently gotten back to cs lately and I realise that I have horrible aim there. I try and control recoil, I burst fire, I crouch, yet my shots go around everybody. Wheras everyone I go up against gets headshots on me from across the hallway, I just dont get how some people make it look so easy. So I desperatly need help on how I can improve my aim.

pick a mouse sensitivity and stick with it. beyond saying "practice makes perfect" that's about the only advice you can really give someone for better aim. Also get good at pre-aiming corners, learn spots people like to play, and have your x-hair at head level on that spot before you turn the corner. works wonders.

You gotta stay still when you shoot. you wont hit anyone while moving. if you havent already make your crosshair dynamic, and shift walking and crouching are essential while aiming
