Beta Patch #2 Changelog

Added unloading weapon ammo, as per popular request!
Added a few missing traits and perks
Fixed and updated existing traits and perks
Added dialogues and scripting for various faction encounters
Added loot to several existing levels
Added combat to several existing levels
Added props to several existing levels
Added several new levels
Added code to hide conditional maps until conditions are met
Added more PC character models
Added new crisis events
Added variation to panic behaviors depending on character
Added Memorial Wall and Suggestion Box content
Added a couple more fence attackers
Added new icons for job board tasks and armors
Fixed a bug where transferring items crashed the game
Fixed a crash that occurred when a character panicked with med. satchel in item slot 2
Fixed a crash that occurred when pushing characters back with two-handed weapons
Fixed a soft lock that sometimes occurred where characters would endlessly heal during panic
Fixed an issue where you could trade with neutral NPCs
Fixed a couple bugs with leadership commands
Fixed an issue involving item destruction + duplication occurring from panic
Fixed issues with loot containers on several levels
Fixed issues with ‘ghosts’ appearing
Fixed some issues with building models
Fixed an issue where KOed allies would follow the currently-controlled character
Balanced carry weight values
Balanced walking speed on area map

Added more PC models, awesome.
Just what I needed to get started again!

Such a small issue can make the game feel awesome again.
Together with all those upgrades to the game I missed.
Will give this game another 2 day of playing :)

curses, was hoping for horses. all will be forgiven is bowie knife or katana works though :P

Yeah, I'm looking forward to cows, chickens and horses. Their models and animations exist, they're just not implemented in the game.

Still find it odd there's no pigs. How can you run BarterTown with no pigs?

frankly, im pretty disapointed so far in update, i checked 10 busted areas, not one was fixed. it looks like this is mostly a cosmetic update with maybe one or two areas fixed, so im prolly going to pass on this update :(

This is a nice update, though I am still wondering when is the sound issue going to be fixed.
I reported it a couple of times. One of those was on the official forum.

Yes, we recommend that you start a new game with each update.

Been playing a while, but really need a option of spawning more zombies (maybe a hardcore option to not distract turnbase beginners)

The Zombie AI seems a bit too easy, infact was in the alley and picked with high agility (or max ap) toon the whole pack at the fence off one by one.
That is 7 Zombies vs 1 player Character.

Love Bullseye map, and the great number of zombie, got stuck in turnbased mode.
But they are not coming towards the player, I mean if a player manage to kill of the zombie/zombies in 1 turn fine.
But really need a creepy mode ! where the zombies just start moving on mass on the player.

Also recruited Bud, but his area is not done yet. which is allright :) am not expecting everything perfect, but can see the detail of work the small team is doing.
But it is a zombie game after all, balance is good for beginners. but really need a creepy mode!
Where I am so pressed that I am going to start using shotgun (thus attracting even more zombies)

For now the looters are the threat, but even there AI seems to have been made simpler.
Even the coyote at the Alley, seems to be less smart.
Prefer the AI which were stupid in chasing you all the way. to this new smart AI that calculates the distance towards you. and stays just out of your range.
Thus leading to often them doing nothing.

Zombies really need to use the old AI of stupidity and chasing you around to create terror again.

still pretty disapointed with update honestly. not alot of maps that have been "fixed" (i define fixed as in having at least loot or enemies with decent loot in them), several perks still arent working like efficiency which reduced used parts or rationing (2 biggest ones i want to see working tbh), and i really dont like the nerfs to carry weight, but i can at least understand why. Right now, only really playing through this beta to see the new crisis events and new people, cause honestly, the only useful thing out of this patch was unloading guns, maybe new maps if they are like loot pinata's at this point.

*Edit*, ok, so apparently now that i reloaded, rationing DOES work now, not sure how that works but i'll take it :P

Great list of updates ! All good work. Stacking ammo still needs fixing and also small crashes ! cannot wait for the next couple of updates and hopefully the full game soon ! Keep it up guys
