Thanks to ppl who bought this scam for ruining game industry
As title says, thanks to you, more developers get encouraged to bang people on money for selling them prototypes of their games. Go on, delude yourself and think that you actually help the devs by playing some bugged demo, the true fact is that they sniffed good business in EA and put their "game" (sure, call bugged prototype a game) here to make more money. You really think you help them by buying this? How? Stretch goals were set on kickstarter, and helping with bugs, well, this is just first seven days of game, I'm sure they are aware of bugs in this prototype. And here the best part of this "Early Access". How will you help with development of rest of the game? ahahahahah. Cya, not even gonna respond to any of the posts beneath, as I'm sure a bunch of bessoted fanboys will tell me I'm wrong.

Every game on steam right now seems to be early access, it is getting pretty damn annoying. I wish I could filter them out when browsing for games.

That said, this game looks interesting, and will check it out when it is actually released.

Oh look another OP who thinks he's really cool because he has a opinion.

Mhm, you're welcome, 96Beryl. ;) I paid for it in July 2012 on Kickstarter and got my Early Access key yesterday. What about you? Did you buy it on early access or are you just venting about a problem you don't even have?
Alsky Feb 14, 2014 @ 6:29am
I am pretty sure 96Beryl doesn't even own it (and doesn't plan to at the current time price point according to their posts yesterday) which makes it very, very sad that they keep hanging out on these boards. If we just ignore all these trolls they will move on, they are just baiting because they have nothing better to do in their lives.

I'm surely venting about problem I have, don't you see this trend in selling not finished games? Early Access == forever beta, as it's good business. Hmm, you said you paid for it in July 2012? It's about year and a half? And what you got now? Bugged demo, wow, great progress after this time, srsly. Go ahead and wait next year and a half, maybe you will get bugged beta. And you know why I'm fussing all about this? Because as a gamer, and future developer, hopefully, I care about this industry.

So you need to buy a game first because only then one is allowed to make a comment that you wont buy it.

Your logic has some flaws.

What did I get? Hmmm...I got to ensure that a game was made that I wanted to play and I'm getting to play it. Without my funding in July 2012 it wouldn't have been. The demo is the first tangible proof that it is being made and may be a quality product (that remains to be seen). As such, this concept isn't hard to understand. Maybe it is for you, but for people who have an IQ greater than that of a tomato it's not all that difficult of a concept.

Most likely trolling because he's probably 12 years old.

Way to stay true :-)

Secondly:
If you are a aspiring developer then you should realise how long it takes to make a game, especially one of this genre. You should also know the difference between indie and going down a publisher route. Maybe a little more schooling will help you as I am sure you wouldn't even listen to anyone on here explaining how the industry currently works.

You surely know my IQ, please arguments "ad personam" are the weakest ones. Great, after year and a half you got small, bugged proof, how nice from the devs. You know, Kingdom Come:Deliverance, which is still in funding on kickstarter showed more proofs of their work in 2 weeks than this game after almost 2 years.

How is my logic flawed? I never said they couldn't comment on a game they don't own?! I clearly stated that it is very sad to hang around on boards on something you say you won't own spouting the same opinion. Surely Beryl has something better to do with their time?

Yeah, I know, a small studio called Amplitude Studios created very good 4X strategy called "Endless Space" in year and few months. Without any Early Access. Now tell me that the devs can't finish small game in same period. And I assure you that I'm not 12, nor 16. Also please don't try to tell me how the industry works, because I'm telling you, I'm really inside it.
