That said, this game looks interesting, and will check it out when it is actually released.
ok
So you need to buy a game first because only then one is allowed to make a comment that you wont buy it.
Your logic has some flaws.
Sorry, That post was so dumb that I couldn't resist to respond. OH LOOK, I DID IT AGAIN.
What did I get? Hmmm...I got to ensure that a game was made that I wanted to play and I'm getting to play it. Without my funding in July 2012 it wouldn't have been. The demo is the first tangible proof that it is being made and may be a quality product (that remains to be seen). As such, this concept isn't hard to understand. Maybe it is for you, but for people who have an IQ greater than that of a tomato it's not all that difficult of a concept.
Most likely trolling because he's probably 12 years old.
Way to stay true :-)
Secondly:
If you are a aspiring developer then you should realise how long it takes to make a game, especially one of this genre. You should also know the difference between indie and going down a publisher route. Maybe a little more schooling will help you as I am sure you wouldn't even listen to anyone on here explaining how the industry currently works.
You surely know my IQ, please arguments "ad personam" are the weakest ones. Great, after year and a half you got small, bugged proof, how nice from the devs. You know, Kingdom Come:Deliverance, which is still in funding on kickstarter showed more proofs of their work in 2 weeks than this game after almost 2 years.
How is my logic flawed? I never said they couldn't comment on a game they don't own?! I clearly stated that it is very sad to hang around on boards on something you say you won't own spouting the same opinion. Surely Beryl has something better to do with their time?
Yeah, I know, a small studio called Amplitude Studios created very good 4X strategy called "Endless Space" in year and few months. Without any Early Access. Now tell me that the devs can't finish small game in same period. And I assure you that I'm not 12, nor 16. Also please don't try to tell me how the industry works, because I'm telling you, I'm really inside it.
