Where can I find purple pirate character? Please help.

I'm trying to unlock all characters.
There's only 3 left.

I know about other two guys.
But I really cannot find the purple pirate character.

They say that the coffin can be found in usual 4 stages.
And I played hundreds times, but I've never seen coffins anymore.

Please help if you have an information about this.

I found the coffin on my 1st dark stage.

I dunno...I've only got 5 hours in the game and still havent made it past the jungle but I found her in a coffin in 1-3. it's like...the only character i have unlocked so far

Apart from the "special" DLC characters, there will be one coffin each in the Mines, the Jungle, the Ice Cavern and the Temple and each coffin will contain one of the four Yellow, Lime, Cyan and Purple characters (which one you get where is random). So if you have already found the previous three in, say, the Mines, the Ice Caverns and the Temple, you should be looking in the Jungle levels.

From what I understand, 4 hidden characters (Miner Girl, Mariachi Man, Purple Pirate, and Cyan Animal Hood Man) show up in the 4 main areas, 1 character for each world. Meaning one will be in the Mines, one will be in the Jungle, one will be in the Ice Caves, and one will be in the Temple.

Don't forget, they random generate for each save file. Meaning one person could of found Purple Pirate in the Jungle and another could've found her in the Ice Caves.

My suggestion is try looking in a area/world you haven't found one of those 4 characters in. If you haven't found a character in the Temple like me (not counting the Ninja or Golden Monk) her coffin will likely be somewhere in there.

Hm I've played this game almost 100 hours and still haven't found the pirate lady. I have all the achievements except the low scorer. Is my game bugged?

Try to remember where you found Lime (sombero guy), Yellow (miner hat girl), and Cyan (bear hat guy). Purple pirate girl will be in whatever one of the 4 main areas they weren't in.

It's likely that she's in the temple since players typically spend the least amount of time and do the least amount of exploring there.

Radioactive is right, I realized this yesterday when I unlocked my last character. Purple is one of the standard coffin characters, so she will be in a coffin which will be in whatever area you haven't yet found a character in. I was just playing through the game thinking my character could be anywhere, but once I realized the coffin had to be in the temple I found it rather quickly. Use the shortcut and just keep playing it, you'll eventually get lucky and have a seed with the coffin easy enough to find.
