What about episodic Thief 2?

Ive been thinking about this... Episodic release scheme seems to be doing well for new Hitman, and FF VII remake will also be episodic. Looks like Square is pretty serious about this. So do you think that Thief 2 will also be episodic? How would it work?
Maybe the could release one hub conttaining one quarter of The City with few story missions and bunch of optional content, and with maybe more content added through updates, and then release another paid episode with another hub and so on.

No. It isn't the episodic system that's getting sales. It's the franchise. People do not like all this episodic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Doing well for new Hitman? The reviews are saying otherwise. This game failed and after the firing of the devs I don't think that's gonna happen, let alone for a sequel of this game. Also no thank you, episodic system is just horrible.

i would rather have a full game and yes ff7 is going to be like that but i will not buy it till its complete. valve turned me off on that...still waiting on hl2 epi 3...or sin emergence epi2 ...lol...or recently dreamfall chapters epi 5...hate episodic content...wish folks would stop buying into that garbage
