Failed to start open AL

no sound will be played fix. cane any on tell me how to fix this?

Download http://www.hammerwatch.com/OpenAL32.dll and put it in your Hammerwatch directory.

I tryed that and it didn't work but what is most strange the non steam version does not have this problem so I suspect it has something to do with the open AL sdk, most likely conflicting with the open AL that comes with the game. maybe deleting one or the other might fix the problem?

The solution that the developer suggested worked for me.

If you got it off the humble bundle like me just play the non-steam it does not have this problem.
