Local multiplayer only?
I can't understand why anyone is still making games without online multiplayer if it has local MP.. seems that should be a standard feature today.

Agreed ... but I guess it's too late now, and you can still enjoy the singleplayer :)
I wish steam was consistant with how the tagged games. If this is seriously local multiplayer, it needs to say local co-op on the page, not multiplayer. I bought it mainly because I assumed it had online. What a waste.
This is still an amazing game, even in singleplayer. Besides, you must have at least one person you could invite over and play with, right?

Some people don't have any "real life" friends that like videogames, so online play is the only option.

Or even those "real life" friends might not like this type of videogame. My friends stick mainly with FPS/Sports.
I have to agree, I assumed this game had online multiplayer, because when you read multiplayer nowadays it should pretty much mean online. Local Multiplayer is basically just single player with someone else, not impressed
I never play local multiplayer on the PC, that's what I have consoles for ;)

No Local Multiplayer is Local Multiplayer. So was Halo 1 Local Multiplayer Splitscreen Single player because it wasn't online? Idk I guess I was just playing with the air. Damn the thin air was ok at Halo for being nothing.
I have to admit that an online mode would have been great. The game is cool but it's kinda impossible to have friends who likes this type of game, it's ... special and you have to play with someone who has the same level, almost impossible.
Funny game but online mode would make it awesome :p

Thank you for obviously missing the point

Single player with somebody else.
Single? With somebody else...?

That makes PERFECT sense. /sarcasm

Yeah... That was the worst analogy of all time.
It's write in description : "Play single player or local head-to-head multi-player"

Buy glasses and some friends.

that's the only way for him to get some friends. No one likes people who can't read and post BS.

Yeah... That was the worst analogy of all time.

He means it's essentially two people playing single player mode alongside each other, instead of influencing each other's characters like you'd expect from a two player mode. I'm not sure if that's true, though.
