Welcome!
Hey everyone! I'm the Community Manager for Edge of Space, and I'll be helping with all of your questions here on Steam. Just to keep things running smoothly, I'd like to point out a couple things about the way we'll work the Discussions area.

1) After your question has been answered, or your issue has been resolved to your satisfaction, we will be locking threads. This is to help the team easily spot new posts, and be sure that we're not bringing up old threads constantly. Please don't worry that we're doing it to stop discussions, or discourage people!

2) Please keep discussions relevant to the game, including questions, issues, and feedback. We welcome suggestions and we very much want to hear your thoughts. That being said, please be sure that you offer constructive criticism, rather than personal attacks, or inflammatory posts.

We're very excited to be here, and look forward to meeting many of you in the community in the days ahead!

Let me say that this is one of the first game dev. companies I have found to be so on-task with answering questions and caring about their community. Thank you - Fire

Thanks so much for the kind words! Our community is our pride and joy and we're doing the best we can to keep up! ^_^
Hello, sorry for the double post but I was afraid my thread was already buried. Will be deleting it since it seems the devs are listening to this one.

For some reason the game would crash as soon as I click 'launch application' when I had the screen set to fullscreen 1360x768. I finally got it to launch at 1280x720 and borderless.

I can post more info if needed to help trouble shoot this

Windows 7 64 bit
AMD Phenom II 940 quad core (3.00ghz OC'd to 3.5)
Nvidia GTX 550Ti
8gb ram

A personal recommendation - Remove the always online requirement.

I was ready to buy multiple copies for myself and my friends and then saw that it requires a constant connection and a log in to your servers. Quite simply I won't buy any game that does this unless it's an MMO. There is no legitimate reasoning for it and it should not be tolerated. Add that in with your willingness to censor the forums (regardless of your reasoning for it) and honestly you don't come off as a very trustworthy company. Just my opinion.

If you read the post about login requirements, you would find that this is only for the beta, the requirement will be removed down the road, and you will be able to play offline or over lan without internet :)

Many indie devs practice it on their forums and other gamehubs :/
