SS2 needs Steam Workshop

So we can mod it through steam, instead of going to alll kind of websites and download stuff that have to be installed manually, and is a pain to uninstall.

Bro, I'm not saying that it's too hard, I install mods on a Mac, but you click to subscribe to "install" and unsubscribe to cancel much easier in 2017.

Have to admit that compared to a lot of games SS2 isn't THAT hard to mod.

But real Workshop support? Two clicks, done? For every little stupid thing I'd like to try? Just RIGHT THERE, without any of the seperate instal kerffuffle the mod manager needs?

Drat, if that got added, I doubt SS2 would ever leave my computer again.

And more importantly? If stuff like the Unoffical patch was a few clicks away instead of half an hour of fiddling and tutorial reading, the game would be a far easier *sell* (wink, wink) to some of my friends who like FPS and RPGs but have zero patience for modding and manual patching.

Agreed, I'm about to ask what's probably a stupid question because I for the life of me can not get shotguns to show on hybrids. I think I've ordered my mods correctly and pretty much copied the reccomended mods from the excellent guide here, but it's old now and there are updates that could be causing compatability issues.

A steam workshop would make it easier for the terminally lazy and allow any issues to be reported in one place for easy reference.

see the link in my previous post - also remember, many mods require a SS2tool patched install, so if you don't have that, stuff will not work.
