Currently the game is in beta for patch 1.31 and it is substantially a larger patch then the patches before. Briefly it will have,
-Bug fixes as usual
-Auto-combat at its early stages
-Renewed exteriors of buildings
-Swaying temple banners and shop signs
-Polished graphics with optical effects
-Well-written user contributed events/encounters
-Ship of the Dead
-City encounters
-Extra environmental sounds, such as waves and ocean
-Herb-eating
-Shop opening-closing times(if I remember correct)
-Market days and rumors related to market days
-Repeat last attack button in the combat
-Option to display the health of enemies by description (hurt, wounded etc) or by bars
These are all as far as I observed. As cANE says check again later if you cannot be bothered with it right now. And it is at the level of playable and enjoyable, and it will only get better.
Well, little stuff, like healers for example. In the original game, if a healer didn't know what he was doing, he could muck up the healing job and your character would be worse off than before. That has yet to be implemented in the remake. Other little things like getting banned from taverns for cheating/picking pockets and shopkeepers not dealing with you anymore after you offer them too many low offers are not implemented either. The good news is they are going to be added eventually so we just have to wait.
