Problems with 2 quests

This game kicks ass. I have 2 problems though: Medallion quest and the quest with Amazons.

Medallion quest doesn't show any location to go to - I've explored the whole island, nothing happened.

With amazons - I'm standing on their hunting ground, noone there...

Overall the game is great, I'm playing on insane difficulty. I'd love it to be more challenging though - make enemies smarter, they hardly know how to destroy barricades and tend to rush attack even though they are supposed to be on defense (i.e. port mop-up mission in Hispanola), making their traps meaningless.

amazons are wandering around their camp. The camp should get a quest symbol after you found their hunting party

i could not find the location for the medallion quest either so i just quit the game and left it on my shelf so to speak. I have way too many games that work properly that need my attention.

the medallion is in the mountains to the south of estbans mine. about 3/4days travel

If you're hoping that we'll add a map marker for The Medallion, we have no plans to do so. It's a side quest, and you'll have to search for it. If you don't want to spend your time exploring the map, forget about that quest and move on.

Agreed. Just for the record i have explored the map enough to lose the game 3 different times. And you know what they say " 3 strikes and you are out" ;) This example is exactly why i don't spend alot of money on games. especially indie or otherwise....

Hence my original comment. If this is how easily you dismiss games, I can see why you feel like spending little on it.

It doesn't sound like you're looking for help anyway with how you dismissed the guy trying to point out where it was for you.

no quite easy i'm afraid. I think being a completionist like myself puts alot of these types of games at a disadvantage. I do all quests no matter how small its just that i expect the developers to realize this from their audience and do the small things..... Like put a map marker on a map. Not tooo hard i would imagine. Now i have been doing my homework and the medallion quest is one of the quests that does not show up at it's location. I refer you to the other threads on here and on GOG. Its not really asking much, is it????

I had similar problems with the Amazons myself. Dunno why... I wandered around the Amazon Territory prompt and couldn't find anything my first attempt. Confused, I kept going west until I hit El Dorado... I actually thought that maybe the Amazons were defending the city of gold. <_<

it is not very hard to find the medallion yourself, if you follow the mans instruction.

The medallion quest is supposed to be found, there's no need for a quest marker. It's not 'not working properly' just because it's messing with your OCD that you couldn't find it. A problem that would probably have been solved long ago if you were actually here to look for help rather than complain at and dismiss a game as 'not working properly', simply because you missed something and are annoyed.
