You just bought Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, and... a crash. You may experience issues like lag, crashing, slow load times etc. This guide should solve most of your problems. If you can't find the solution to your problems, don't worry! The guide will keep expanding thanks to your feedback.

I just bought Mortal Kombat and it worked fine yesterdey, but this day when im trying to launch the starting picture shows up with the dragon and a few moments later i can see on my game list Mortal Kombat synchronizing in a split second and after that the game dont launch. What is the problem?

my problem is same,i already try to delete the MKKE folder and the first launch its work and in game it create new mkke folder after i relaunch the game,it cant launch anymore so if i wanna play this game i must delete the mkke folder and the game always search for optimal resolution,thats make me ill feel so please solve my problem thx....

Edit the MKKE.ini file again and then make the file read-only.

what i did is delete the option file in the MKKE folder before you start the game, but you have to do it every single time

I just picked up the game. I'm double clicking the icon and the Steam start up window for the game comes up, but then nothing happens. It doesn't even create a process for it in Task Manager.

Well, I got it working somehow. I verified the cache, but that didn't work so I just straight up restarted Steam and that got it somehow.

Temporary Solution is deleting MKKE folder which is c:/users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/MKKE in.. W8 64 bit. I hope it gonna be fixed soon.

hey in the end all of my problem fixed.i did like sewpar said,edit the mkke folder.in the option i change max texture to 1024 and save.then i change into read only then restart the game.But actually i already redownload the game so maybe redownload the game could fix it.

before i redownload the game i cant play the game too so maybe just redownload the game(do not redownload from your mkke backup data)just delete local content and redownload it for 8,5gb and after that follow my step and your game could be working
