This game will not load!!!!!!!

It loads past hexen screen but when it gets to Deathknight screen it will not load. I bought the package and only hexen 2 works and I can't change the resolution.

I found some program called zandronum. It fixed everything. Make sure your turn fulldouble to false in the hexen config file. Also all you do with zandronum is download it, take files and put them in the base folder of hexen. Then delete dosbox and rename the zandronum exe dosbox.

You need no extarnal files. All you have to do is edit the hexen.conf file. I have a thread about it in this forum, so read it and please don't flood it with new threads, rather comment and bumbp the thread that works already, so people can see it on front page.

No. Zandronum is the only way I could get it to work fullscreen 1920 1080p with higher res textures. I dIdn't use zandronum I would have black boarders, low res and no controls. I did EVERYTHING, I could in dosbox and the hexen config files and it still left black boarders and low res. Thank you but this time and my computer, you are WRONG!!!! Oh and nobody had the problem I needed fixed and I read all the other threads. When someone is smarter than you, or has a different computer, don't think you know everything with them because you don't.

By the description you've given in the first post you did sound like you have absolutely no idea what you're doing, which is why I've replied like that. Next time state, that you want to play the game in hd res, because even now you sound like someone who still doesn't know what he's talking about (you need ports or mods for almost all of the older games to run x1080).

It's alright, just be more informative about your issues. Stating that 'It loads past hexen screen but when it gets to Deathknight screen it will not load' is similar as if you came to a doctor and told 'well, something hurts me, but I don't know what' ;)
