Right analog Stick no camera control

The controller i can use to play ds1 right now, cant make the camera work on ds2, seems every direction the game inputs a button push, so i can attack but cant control the camera... also seems the automapping is weird. it is a generic ps3 controller that i use also on my ps3 and for pc gaming, anyone had problems with right analog stick and mapping on control?

i cant seem to find options to change mapping on the controller...

I has not expecting another half assed port.....i mean i can play ds1 right now on pc and demons souls on ps3 with this controller.... why cant it work properly for ds2....

Are you using motioninjoy? And did you make the controller function like a Xbox360 controller? Otherwise it's functioning like a 'joystick' mapping.

same thing here, although im using a cheap ♥♥♥♥ gamepad, but it works perfectly for all other games, even ds1.. so.. yeah

no i never had to use anything for Ds1 and am not using now, so i can only get camera movement if i pretend my controller is a mouse and keyboard??? lolz
How can i make it work like a xbox360 controller? like i said it works fine for ds1 seems weird that for ds 2 it would not work...

same here. my pad works for DS1 perfectly and yet in DS2 right analog works as attack motion and my RB and LB are assignated with other bad controls

The camera keeps pointing at the ground for some reason. When I reversed the Y-axis it started pointing at the sky instead. Anyone has a fix for this?

Yes, it happens when is locked in an enemy, with big bosses it's almost ridiculous, I can see only the feet of the huge eenemy.

The camera and character control is a mess, they broke the almost perfect Dark Souls 1 system.
