Question about release and updates ahead.

Quick question, will you be able to play as other races in further updates. And when will the game be released?

That is good question. From what I been seeing so far the game is meant to played from point of view of humans being the underdog starting with one system awhile everyone else has 3 or 4 systems already with tech advantages. And the goal is to overcome that and remove races from the map with you and your alliances left. Well if they do allow that they may force you to play in classic mode for balance so you don't start with muti colonies already making it too easy.

it was really fun!
i don't know when new updates (so new races and etc) will be released but i hope as soon as possible.

We don't have a set release date yet. Beta is our next big goal when all the game features promised for release will be fully functional. There will be regular updates usually weekly or bi-weekly as we make improvements or changes, I will post them in announcements.

Yes, by default Steam updates automatically unless you turn it off for specific game.
