Dash keeps dashing when I don't tell him to.
I am using a PS3 contoller to play this (through DS3 tool), and occasionally Dust would dash to the left without me pressing L2 or tapping left on the right analogue stick. I thought at first this was just me accidentaly tapping one of these buttons by accident, so I continued on playing but this kept on happening. Eventually, I got so annoyed by this I decided to make certain that it wasn't me. Do do so I just left the controller on my desk untouched. After a few moments, Dust dashed to the left 3 times, with gaps inbetween. I am not sure what is causing the issue, but any advice on how this keeps happening, or how to resolve it would be much appreciated.

Might be the emulating Software you use for the PS3 Controller to work. Maybe you can configure it differently or try another Software (like MotionJoy).

Im using a XBox 360 pad and don't have this issue(but that doesn't say much since the Game came from Xbox anyways).

It's either a fault with the software you're using, or the right stick isn't perfectly centered.

I'm getting the same problem. DS3 is calibrated, using MotionJoy. Any ideas how to fix this?

Btw, the game is bloody gorgeous.

For MotionJoy users, perhaps you need to increase the deadzone on the right thumbstick. I haven't used the program but I imagine that should solve it.

Had the same issue. I just disabled right stick and used r2/l2.
PS3 controller users are more likely to run afoul of this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/236090/discussions/0/864969320353717804/ due to the fact Sony's thumbsticks are looser than those of a Microsoft controller.

Xavious, how did you disabled the right stick?

I was having the same issue, already getting crazy. But, changing to another PS3 controller seems to solve the issue. Most likely a hardware problem.

Sef, in MotionInJoy go to the XBox 360 controller emulation options. In there scroll down until you get to the "Right Stick X" axis option. Just unbind that, you can leave the Y axis as you can use it for quest log and stuff and its only left and right that cause dodging.

Happens to me, but only because the L2/R2 buttons are so open and when my finger gets a bit "lazy" I will accidentally push on e of tehm. Don't have the issue withthe stick though and I use Motioninjoy as well. So your stick is defintely off kilter, or you keep hitting those pesky L2/r2 buttons by accident. >_>

I'm going to take the bait and...

Listen, I know he has the same shade of blue, but Dust very clearly is not Rainbow Dash. He doesn't have wings. S'the only real difference, I can understand the mistake.

I think I've figured out the problem poke (Ps3 controller, DS3) but it stopped randomly dashing when I disabled the vibration.

I can confirm what Helter said. I had the same problem with DmC. If you have vibration on, it should stop happening.
(I know it's been almost a year since you posted this, but I don't care, hahah)
