Worth buying?
Surprised to see very little recent discussion here. In any case, is this worth buying for a fan of platformers?

Even if it won't be on sale this week: Yes. (: Maybe it's like some other indie-titles: too short. But I've played it for a bunch of hours and new free content is announced.

New free content doesn't interest me. It's all just small circular levels suitable for competitive leaderboard challenges.

How is the base gameplay otherwise? As long as it is 3 hours long, I'm fine. How much have you completed it? Difficult?
I don't know how much time i spent on just completing the game - so far I'm at 20+ hours. The "story"line has some challenging levels. But don't hesitate that much, if you like platformers. I guess you will definetly get your 3 hours.
I finished in 7 hours. This is one of the most satisfying platform of the year. I'm pushing all my friend list to buy it. So, it worth :)
is it similiar to thomas was alone in terms of art and narration, to whoever has played both games? i saw the trailer. the "no guns", "no enemies" thing feels a bit odd, it didn't feel pretentious to anyone here? i dont like artish games that want to be artish only for the sake of being artish.

It's an interesting game but also hard. I found it to be more frustrating than fun so I don't consider it to have any replay value. It took me about 5 hours to finish it.
IMO its awesome. very original, the ost / ambience of the game are great as well
the gameplay is really cool but at first it will be a bit odd since the classic WASD movement doesnt exist
Yeah, I got it in the end. I figured it'd be worth it for the soundtrack at least, hehe. The main theme is awesome!

Game is fine so far. Pretty challenging, but makes you improvise and experiment a lot, not to mention be precise (as most platformers do, anyway).

I am holding off from playing for now because this game requires you to be immersed in it, and also because I am having some performance issues and the dev says there's an update.

I used to not playing games at all or at least postpone it for such reasons, still do sometimes, but it kinda kills the fun if I try badly to get immersed and than some neighbours decide to ruin my solitude by jumping around or whatnot. It's a head-thing, if you don't dwelve too much in it I think a good game can still immerse you fairly well despite outside circumstances trying to hinder you.

Kerbal space program
11 hours, with getting all achievements.

Rewarding when you get things right, but also really frustrating when you don't. I remember playing for five minutes at a time, and then swearing and not touching it for a week.

Looks nice, sounds nice, plays nice. It is worthy of your purchase.

EDIT: not yours specifically, since you picked it up already, but for anyone else reading :D
