Controller support better in Audiosurf 2 ?

Sorry if the thread already exists, by I want to know if the controller support is better for this game, because it's key for me in buying this game at an early stage. I got a Striker FX wireless gamepad (army) and audiosurf cannot recognise it. I am not sure if the game doesn't recognise all PS3 controllers, but I really felt annoyed that I found out (after buying the controller) that most games actually support the microsoft xbox controller =_= So does anyone tried playing the game with ps3 controller, it says "Partial Controller Support" :(

Please can we get a switch to turn off controller support? I want to setup the game to only use keyboard and mouse.

dont know for ps3 controller support but there are a lot of programms which can turn you ps controller in a emulated xbox controller: Like this: http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list or google xbox controller emu v3
But good english and some pc understandings might be helpfull.

Download motioninjoy, install it, connect ps3 controller via USB, select "xbox 360 controller emulator", click driver manager (allow ds3 tool to make changes), select the ps3 controller, click load driver

Same thing as an xbox360 controller now.

Thank you JerTi and 5 YEAR VET SAM!, I will try the programms you suggested! I tried Xpadder, but it doesn't work for all games, maybe I am doing something wrong. If the others work, it will fix all my controller problems and I will even get Audiosurf 2

The original Audiosurf doesn't require any additional programs in order to fully experience the controller experience, which - at least for me - is better than using the keyboard/mouse.

Will this game have full controller support once released?

I just tried motioninjoy, but it did not work. It could not detect my controller, neither with the wireless adapter or the usb. I think my usb cable is only for charging, I cannot use the controller without the wireless, however motioninjoy did not find my controller at all :( I tried xpadder too, I set up the picture with the keys, but I do not see any xbox360 emulator option :( Damn controllers..

Well the thing is I just connected a TV to my laptop, and would like to play the game from a distance :) And I have a problem with other games as well, most probably will buy soon an xbox controller, this ps3 type one is starting to annoy me too much :S

I used a xbox 360 controller in the original Audiosurf, it worked just fine. Never used a PS3 controller though >:P

i'm using an xbox 360 controller too but no matter what button i use on the controller i can't use the minion in mono mode. does anyone know which input button i should use? there's way too many options on the input screen

Try another game with motioninjoy (like Castle Crashers or Volgarr the Viking or Super Meat Boy etc.) to see if it's the program that is not working properly or a problem specifically with audiosurf.
