Sorry, but no. I'm not planning to discount it any more than that until after it has been out of early access for a while.

Drop the first one on humble bundle that would be good :D:

Blast. Fighting for cents wouldn't be an issue if the sale wouldn't have come so damn late, it's basically on the same bill as the Christmas sale will be, and fitting it all in one month is a bit much. Apparently some "big publishers" have been the cause of this. Oh well, I guess I'll get it, considering I loved the first, though I will cry big salty tears.
There. Bought it. :gaper:

(Actually I'm pretty sure I'll love it)

It IS early access. The game technically isn't out yet. There doesn't need to be, nor should be, a discount on it,

Actually, I'm greatly disappointed that early access didn't follow the example of Minecraft. If you care to remember: Early adopters got a discount, and the price went up with every major stage in development, back then I liked the idea so much that I've bought it in alpha. On the other hand I've promised myself not to buy any early access games, as I felt devs may abuse their fans as paying beta testers without giving anything back, or to drop a project in early access and leave it "unfinished". I somewhat fear that this may make such practices more acceptable. This is the first and maybe the only early access project I will support, and I'm still very worried about how it's going to be handled.

I can see why it's interesting for a Developer though.

I'm convinced that this is the way to make highly-replayable games the best they can be. If I'd kept Audiosurf 2 to myself these past couple months it wouldn't be nearly as far along as it is now. I'd have focused on the wrong things (less aligned with what players want) and would have been a lot less productive. Working with frequent feedback from real, passionate players is a massive improvement over working in isolation. So, as you said, it's easy to see why early access is interesting to developers. I want to see Audiosurf 2 advance as far as possible and this is the way.

Of course, some players care enough about Audiosurf (or music games in general) to want to help push this part of gaming forward too. To those of you who have bought in early to play and give feedback - thank you! Development is thriving on your input. To those of you who have gone another step and implemented/shared ideas on workshop - double thank you! Finding bugs is very useful, but helping shape the game's growth is even more valuable.

The downside to early access has been the customers who bought it and didn't get what they expected. Seeing regrets posted on the forum at early access launch hit hard. Hopefully it will live up to what they wanted soon. I did see a post over the weekend from someone who expressed regret at first, but was now glad to have it and that was good to read.

Well, that went long. Anyway, thanks for buying in Xaromir!

You are making a great game. On an other note, What does swim your music in the official website mean.

So does that mean there isn't a further discount for 'flash sales' or 'daily sales' during the Holiday Sale?
I was on the same boat as you HoHo, feeling uncertain whether the game would prove to be a huge successor over AS1, based on a number of comments on forums and observations/impressions from reviewer sites. So I've purchased it 10% off and after a week so far into AS2 (beta), I'm impressed. It seems the game is not finalized yet, but it's heading into an interesting direction. Mods are a definite plus. For this game to be the true successor over AS1, it's predecessor, I would like to see most if not all of the modes from AS1 in AS2. But I'm definitely enjoying it so far.

Soundcloud integration is another plus. From what I've heard, Last.fm integration was made possible on AS1. I'd like to see that in AS2 too. And to expand further onto more audiences perhaps adding Spotify into the list would improve significantly. Other than that, definitely enjoying the game. Hopefully, once the game has reached its final product, the official "Classic" mod resembles AS1's. To me it looks incomplete.

I don't see what the big deal of $15 is, I bought it full price which is literally less than 1 hour of work, this is a massive improvement over as1 and worth every cent.
By the end of the month, once everything necesary is payed for, I have less than 50Eur left. Not everyone can be rich.

I got the game and I don't even have work, though I don't live in Europe so I can't speak for living conditions and odd jobs over there.
Funny thing is: I'd get more if I'd apply for social security and do absoloutely nothing. Times are just tough right now, that's all. I used to get by a lot better just half a year ago.
