Same Song With Different Tracks?
Is it possible for a song to have multiple track layouts, perhaps with loops in other places or more loops than another track?

I only ask because while playing on one song (Draper - Inertia), another player seems to jump ~45,000 points in one area, almost like he hit a loop. But there wasn't a loop in that area on my track. I doubt it's a hacker, but in this one spot the player seemed to get a huge score boost that I can't find. The odds of three full stacks in that area are unlikely, and it seems fishy to me.

So, are multiple layouts under the same song possible?

Points are randomly placed in "normal" mono. So, yes.

But loops though? I understand the cars can change position, but I didn't think loops were randomized, or that there could be more or less in one song.

The loops stay the same throughout each play of the song, I believe.

I've also noticed people getting ridiculous amounts of points in weird parts of the song, but near the end you can usually catch up, as if those points never really did much. Their score also seems to freeze for a bit when this happens, so maybe it's just the scoreboard glitching out?

in earlier builds, the scoreboard would show other players' track layout, and i noticed on some songs (usually my anime OP/EDs) their layout would be much bigger than mine, hence the bigger score. so you could technically 'cheat' the system by naming a song something else, and get a different score than normally allowed. unless that has been rectified and songs have diff scores depending on the layout now

Yeah I had this problem in the first Audiosurf, I have a bootleg copy of "Hypercaine" by DJ Fresh, ripped from a BBC radio station, and the whole thing is completely downhill, way more score than the original song.
