Super Sanctum TD - v 2.0 Patch Notes ( Mac Support! )
In this patch we have done a major overhaul of the game to deal with the many bugs that were an issue before. We won’t be listing all the bugs we have fixed, because then this would be a huge post, instead we will be highlighting new features and changed mechanics.

New features:
  • Mac support!
  • Continue system
  • Zoom function ( bound to mouse wheel )
  • Screen edge-pan
General:
  • All levels have had all waves rebalanced
  • Sell and upgrade toggles added ( bound to s and u )
  • Options menu now includes volume controls and a fullscreen toggle
  • Delete save moved to options menu
  • Options menu now available from title screen
  • Infobar values now reflect buffs and perk influence
  • Infobar can now display base stats of selected enemies
  • Supply drops are now only available through perks

Perks:
  • All perks have been redesigned
  • Perks are now divided into 5 categories; physical towers, energy towers, economy and effects. Each category is divided into 4 tiers - 1 perk per tier, each tier divided into ranks, maxing out one tier unlocks the next.
  • Perk points are no longer linked to stars, perk points are now rewarded for completing a level

Enemies:
  • All enemies have been rebalanced
  • All enemies now have physical / energy armor
  • New enemies!
  • Armored big walker
  • Broodmother
  • Walker warrior
  • Walker pup
  • Sporebloater
  • Dodger moth

Skills:
  • All skills have been rebalanced
  • Airstrike removed
  • Skill timing mini game removed
  • Mines have an activation delay
  • Freeze bomb now also makes units vulnerable while frozen
  • Force push now also applies a slow effect in addition to the push
  • Assault explorers now gets increased damage the longer they live ( max 3 increases ), and deal AoE damage when they die.
  • 3 new skills accessible through the new perks:
  • Money Rain: All units give + 2 cash for 12 seconds, 90 seconds cooldown.
  • Combustion: Units affected take 40 extra damage for each 100 damage taken over 3 seconds, 40 seconds cooldown
  • Piercing Shells: Physical towers pierce through 50 armor for 12 seconds, 75 seconds cooldown

Towers:
  • All towers have been rebalanced
  • Sell penalty ( 50% ) is now applied instantly
  • Mini core now works as an investment bank. Money invested in the tower can be cashed out by selling the tower. Upgrading the tower increases the interest rate
  • Blackhole tower now fires a projectile creating a black hole where it lands
  • Mine tower is now only able to have 1 / 2 / 3 mines places at any one time, depending on tower level. Mine damage increased
  • Penetrator now does more damage the more units it hits
  • Anti Air now applies a slow effect in addition to doing damage

Achievements:
  • Death from above removed
  • Crowd control removed
  • The Great Maze removed
  • Perky removed
  • Maximizer removed
  • Completist renamed to “I Hold Everything!”
  • At Least I Tried renamed to “Bring it on”
  • Achievements should be unlocking correctly, unfortunately they will not be granted retroactively

"Kill the Patriarch" Achievement still doesn't unlock.

Edit: "I Hold Everything!" doesn't work either, seems like i cant unlock the "Armor Pierce" Perk, i have every perk except that one.

Please try refund your Perk tokens and re-assign them.

Regarding the achievement, we will fix it shortly if that's the case. Since our overhaul of the game is now complete we can way faster fix things forward on with faster patches. We will take all feedback during the weekend and sit down next week with it.

Enemies seem to be visually disappearing after being hit by the black hole (they reappear at some point after, but they do keep moving)

Sound is kinda buggy... I don't know if it's the quality (sounds really scratchy, like it's gonna kill my speakers) and it kinda keeps going even after you finish the level).

That's all I've found so far regarding bugs... I'll post more later.

I'm not super happy with the changes to some things, but meh, I'll get used to them.

One thing I'd like to know is: Should I just erase my save and start from zero? Because everything is unlocked, yet I have not enough tokens to unlock everything... Plus apparently some achievements won't activate if I understand correctly...

We'll look at this Jacowboy. We changed audio to use a new audio library called IrrKlang with the patch and it's been working fine for us. Did you try go into options and move the sliders?

Regarding the black hole, that's the new way it works. The black hole basically sucks enemies up into the void and puts them back after a while.

With the new Perk system you can't "unlock everything" and it's intentional. We wanted a system where you have to plan more strategically in how you spec.

No, I mean they disappear visually after the black hole effect is over... I don't mean while the black hole is on the screen.

Also, the achievements are apparently still wonky for me. For example, "Boom Baby" and "Electrifying"... I unlocked each once, but they didn't register in steam (outside of the game) even though they did register within the game... So I had to exit the game, re-launch, AND re-do them for them to properly register... That was the case for those two, and the one where you kill a walker with an anti-air tower (forgot the name)... those I've tried so far.

I don't know if this might be because of the save file, or something else... But I'm putting it in here, in case it's happening to other people =)

The Huge Walker is on Arc right ? If thats the case the achievement also doenst work. I reset my save and played until that level so far.

in mission 8 or 9 (maybe 10) when a flying monster with appearance of a "bubble" with tentacles (very sorry , my english is very bad) but changed the color to one with red tones ,when enter my base to take damage , the game freeze (i think i broke my computer another time xDDDDD) for a moments (plus the computer)

And throw a Marmalade error with the following text :

Memory exception (11) attempting to access 1F506000 which in or around a guarded region 'heap0' [ip=6A4E2897]

Try re-launching the game and doing it a 2nd time... it's what happened to me, maybe it'll work for ya =)
