Mortal "Kombat" - Last I checked, it was "Combat".
I've never played Warhammer, let alone sit on it.
"Troll"? If me asking why a name is spelt a little strangely is "Trolling" then you're easily offended.

And if he's so concerned about spelling, why is he spelling "spelled" "spelt?"
Move along, indeed. ;)
Cheers, mate.
For me, they should've been called Orrrrks.
But clearly now Orcs have one source Tokien. And your interpretation is coming from Warcraft where Orc are green, not at all in Tolkien.
But Warcraft is now a major influence of what Orcs could be, dragging purely evil species to something more ambigous.
For Ork it seems it's a a name evolution from Warhammer where first Orc was Orc and then renamed in Ork. But there's no special Ork species that would be Orc in the SF context.
Yeah your answer was perhaps only humor but I had to answer seriously to avoid false legends spread. :-)
