Are there any mods that let you keep your save files after you die?

I know this is a "roguelike" and what I am asking for kind of defeats the purpose of these types of games in some people's opinion. However, i would like to get past level three for a change...

I realize that once I get to level five. I'll be able to start at level three but I probably won't have any good gear.

I tried modding the savegame system but most of it seems to be hardcoded. Other ppl also tried but nothing worked.

that sucks. I finally got to level 4 (twice) but died pretty much immidiatelly both times. I might actually never finish this freaking game...

I also would like some kind of cheat to get further in the game, and before anyone jumps on me for being lazy or somthing, let me just say that all I want is to see more than the first two levels of the game becuse the rest of it sure looks like it would be a good game. Its just after spending 4 hours in the first two levels the random room generater kind of runs out of availible layouts.

You could try modding the game yourself. It's actually quite simple. just change a couple of numbers and Tah dah!

you used to be able to back up the exit save but it's stored on the cloud now so that you can't do so. if you really want to cheat add me and i can tell you how to enable godmode. it takes a lot of fun out of the game, though.
