Achievement A LONG WAY TO MINERARY is bugged?
The description : "Bring 4 or more freed goblins to the mine without using teleport or gates."

First time I used the scroll phase door in order to pass the boulders part juste before the mine, that didnt work, dunno why I assumed the scroll was considered something like a teleport. So whatever I tried again.

So I did exactly the same thing, I passed through the garden witth those 4 stupids goblins, then to the save point (I saved this time) I then managed to pass the boulders part in a first try with a potion of speed, but still nothing unlocked, even if they all reach the mine alive.

So what did I do wrong? someone got this achievement already?

Bump! I have tried to get this achieve 3 times w/ no results. I too used a scroll the first time at the boulders, but reloaded and tried w/o it when the achievement didn't pop the first time. I see 0.1% of people who own the game have earned the achievement, so it does look like it works. Is there a specific place in the mine the goblins need to go or something? This is kind of aggravating, it's a pain in the ass challenge on Hard++

You did find the pentagram to unlock the challenge, right?
No pentagram, no achievement.

I did indeed, I can't remember where exactly the pentagram was, but it's one of six challenges available to me.

I wouldn't know. I got it, first, second try or so. But it's talking about the goblins you free for the "Liberation Day" quest; maybe you need to get the pentagram before you complete the quest? Then after the quest's over, Gabe and Zera discuss the goblins are STILL following him, and he suggests taking them back to the mine. Once you get to the gate at the beginning of the mine, another scene ensues, and if you walked all the way, that triggers challenge completion... in theory.

Hmm ok, I'm gunna give it another try then. I've been trying to get over there before I turn in the quest. Maybe I need to turn in and then go over there, I didn't know they would keep following you after the quest was turned in.

In the words of Adam Savage: "Well, there's your problem."
(Probably someone else said it first, but I can't resist Mythbusters.)

Yep that did it, turned in first and got the achievement. Thanks for the help!

Sorry if I insert myself in the discussion like this, but where can I find the descriptions for the achievements? I got all the obvious ones but I don't know what to do for the others. Are they ALL related to in game challenges?
RabidChoco 21/jun./2013 às 15:43
The challenge acheivements, you need to find the pentagrams to unlock them. Most other achievements, like "Kill X enemies", "Y is lit," or "The Key of the Y" need no other special treatment.

Thanks! Then I'll just have to stop being a slacker and search for the pentagrams xd
Are there boss achievements as well? If so, how do they work?

Those are the Key acheivements, mostly. Every time you beat a major boss, they'll always drop the key to where you need to go next. Grab the key, get the acheivement. There are also challenge acheivements for some of the bosses, like don't ever use a potion before killing the first Guardian... but again, you need the pentagrams for it.

Ok, always pentagram-related. Thanks a lot!

Does the "no gates/tele" part start from the very moment the quest starts, or just from the moment you free them? Cause I teleported all around getting ready, after starting the quest, THEN went back and freed all eight, went to the barrel to get the unkown key, and THEN went to the mines. And no cheeve.
RabidChoco 24/jun./2013 às 4:20
I seem to recall using the gates/teleport before quest completion. You -did- find the pentagram to unlock the challenge, right?
Retrospecter 24/jun./2013 às 5:07
Of course. And I led the little guys, without tele/gating, to the save point, saved, and took them to the mines, four times after loading, with fast potions. This achivement isn't even that hard, it's getting it to actually activate, apparently.
