Verify integrity of game cache
If you are having problems getting the game to launch or you are experiencing random crashes, it might be that the game did not install correctly. Please use Steam’s validation check at least twice because sometimes it can report no problems on its first pass.

1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

Update your graphics driver
Visit your graphic card manufacturers' website and download and install the latest driver. If you have a laptop, you may have to visit the laptop manufacturer’s website in order to obtain the latest driver. Please note that these can often be a few revisions behind the reference driver. If may be worth contacting your laptop manufacturer to see if they plan to update the driver soon.

For help on updating your drivers please follow the appropriate steps below depending on your card manufacturer.

ATI/AMD Driver Update
1. Go to http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx
2. Install ‘AMD Driver Autodetect’ application.
3. Select yes on to allow application to run if prompt appears.
4. Select ‘Download Now’ and follow the steps to install the driver.
5. Restart your computer, if necessary after installation of drivers.

NVIDIA Driver Update
1. Go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
2. Select ‘Graphics Drivers’ on option 2.
3. Give permission for java to run.
4. Give permission for GPU_Reader to run.
5. If the tool finds that you need to update your drivers, follow the instructions to install.
6. If the tool is unable to evaluate your system, please go back to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us and manually select your graphics card information via option 1.

Intel Driver Update
1. Go to http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx?lang=eng
2. Select the ‘Continue’ button underneath ‘Intel® Driver Update Utility’
3. Select the button in the centre of the screen titled ‘Check your system for the latest updates’.
4. Give permission to run Java.
5. Give permission to run Java plug-in ‘SysReqLab.cab’ (or System Requirement Lab).
6. Download any new versions of drivers for your Intel graphics card.

Integrated graphics
Some graphical issues can be caused by the game running through integrated Intel graphics cards as opposed to high-performance NVIDIA/ATI cards.

If you want to run the game through your dedicated graphics card, you will need to refer to your computers manufacturers documents or instructions if you are unsure on how to do this, or contact the manufacturer directly if you do not have these documents. Please be aware that this process can be different with each machine. Below are some sites that you may find useful:

• Acer machines with ATI: http://acer--uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19271/kw/amd
• HP machines with ATI: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03048374&cc=uk&dlc=en&lc=en

4. Click Save All Information

Hi, I have just started playing Clan Wars and am finding it difficult to even get past the first opening tutorial due to a problem with the sensitivity of actions, jumping in particuler, I duoble tap my left shift button and it will still do a normal forward jump, if I jam the button with great force it still only rarely works, and I do not think this is a problem with my keyboard as it works brilliantly for all other programmes I use. I am also imagining that not being able to jump properly will not hellp when it comes to actual gameplay as I will constantly be jumping off cliffs so I was wondering if there is a solution, as I have not seen an option for 'keyboard sensitivity'. I apologise is this is the wrong thread. Thank you.

What is the status of the Clan Wars server? Yesterday there was a sticky post about it being down but that post was removed, yet the server is still not working. Worms Clan Wars without a Clan Wars server isn't much...

The Clan Wars server should be okay. I just tried it and I could connect.

They're still crashing constantly and really slow.

The only issue I've experienced so far is stuttering when an explosion is about to happen. Apart from that, I'm digging the game.

Everything is working fine on game for me. I played about 5 games online and no problems yet.
The only issue is on wormsclanwars.com that I can't log in anymore. And the data is not being tracked: http://www.wormsclanwars.com/news-and-events/news/server-update/5

The FPS it's an issue. I tried with LOW setting and with High and the performance didn't changed. I noticed 20% performance difference based on the number of the worms on the map which I think it's quite a hit for a TBS game. No quad processor support for a PC exclusive and broken FPS it's a problem. If the performance per core it's an issue for this game try using more cores.

My FPS it's about 40 for a 2500k i5 processor and a 7950 ATI with 3GB of memory in 1080p. I don't know if this is ok or not from Team17 point of view, to me it's not ok, since in revolution I got far superior FPS and fluid gameplay, and this game is based on the same game but with more weapons a a little biger maps. Even with constant FPS the image animations aren't fluid, explosions have lag etc. I have all drivers updates and it's not as the game have many graphic settings to improve the performance.

This is not a PC exclusive title, no graphic options to adjust the game performance and even the small number that are implemented do not change the performance even with way above minimum system requirement rig. Keyboard support not very well implemented,no customization, mouse support have the same issue, useless scroll in 1080p because of the zoom level.

Conclusion: Not a very polished tittle, almost as a Beta version. Team17 I hope you read this topic and if I understood correctly Worms franchise won't be in your focus for a while so I hope you won't leave this tittle in it's present state. We are waiting for BIG patches that resolve the issues mentioned and leave this Worms Clan Wars as this generation Worms Armageddon.
