Newcomer questions
It is my first time with the game, so I am still adjusting the controls and graphical options. However, it seems hitting ESC does not allow me to quit the game or return to the menu.

Is there a way to exit the game aside from Windows Task Manager?

Another question, this time regarding the shooting mini-game: are the aiming controls supposed to be awkward? Is there a way to disable mouse inverting and sensitivity?

Thanks in advance!

Alt + Tab

Technically, yes. It is to play like the old DOS games.

While traveling, there will be a pause button on the top left side, from there you can quit or return to the main menu and the game is saved automatically.

When aiming, click on the zombie you want to shoot. While left clicking, drag your cursor back to your character and let go.

You probably know to do this, already. Just making sure!

Yeah, I figured it out, but that is still one terribly-designed game mechanic.

I usually try to stay away from the shooting minigames because of this.
