-Cool to see how different type of gaming concepts play off of each other
-Explores a lot of RPG aspects but without the grinding
-Great transitions between generations, especially in art style
-Easy controls, not sure if its a pro, but you can play with one hand. WASD and Spacebar
-Odd Pacing, felt like I was flying through the beginning with the evolutions, only to peter-out about 20 mins in. I felt they could have spent more time by putting more classic content in the beginning stages of the game.
-Extremely short (knocked out 85% in 3 hours, and I probably won't chase the last 15)
-Near the end of the game, combat gets pretty basic/ repetitive (Hit, Heal)
-$9.99? Lol. Catch that bad boy on sale (I did). There's cheaper options to kill 3 hours.
I'd recommend it. Playing this game really reminded me what I loved and loathed about the classic titles it pays homage to. As I said, I would catch it when its on sale. This would be a better value at $2.99 - $4.99 range. But if you got some extra cash, its a good experience.
