Should i wait or play it yet?

It seems this games has a lot of bugs at the moment so i don't know if i should try the game now or not. But i dont want to lose my motivation with bugs and something else cause if i lose it, i dont want to play anymore probably.

What I always tell people is that it is an Early Access Game. So, if you want to play it expect bugs. If you can live with the bugs/know how to get around them or fix them then this is the game for you.

Furthermore, the devs are amazing on releasing updates almost on a clock. So, you get new features to test and use in game every month. As well as, you can say you were a big part int he development of an amazing simulation game and one of the best I have played sense Roller Coaster Tycoon.

I like Roller Coaster Tycoon too its amazing. Ok thanks for the response guys, i'll give it a try. Hopefully the devs give us later a possibility to create new prisoniers in the game.

You can pay extra to have your own prisoner. That was a feature available at launch.

For everyone else - wait until the game releases and goes down to something a bit more.. what's the word... non-dickish? For $10-$15 I've alpha subscribed to big-team, big-budget titles like Wasteland 2, Project Eternity, that game from Lord British, and countless more.

Let the dumb consumers buy at this price point.

It's only dumb if you don't think the product's value matches its selling price. With the ammount of time ive sunk into this game its been a much better purchase than some big titles.

Since the devs themselves stated the game is currently overpriced... you may want to rethink the price point. Of course you sink a lot of time into the game.

It is a sandbox. Show me a sandbox game that doesn't eat up a lot of time and I will show you a game that is a bad sand box! heh

I have watched a few Streams and youtube vids on this game. It appears that the game comes to a crawl once you run out of money while establishing your prison. At that point it feels like you have to excessively wait for a minor surge of funds. I have only seen a few things on it, so maybe they have fixed that by now.

I may want to re think? Nope. Ive wasted money on sandbox games before such as SimCity. Which i put twice the money in and less than half the time. I ENJOY a sandbox game that will ocasionaly come to a crawl. Much like Evil Genius in that it takes time to build things and the cash flow isnt crazy high. If it was i would have my giant perfect prison in about 2 hours then be done with the game. Still think the $30 price point is fine. Would i pay less for it? Sure. But am i un happy with my purchase? Not at all. So it may be that it's value doesnt match up for everyone but i think it's just fine. And other buyers feel the same way. Obviously not all but thats fine they can wait to play the game then when the price drops.

i purchased this game cause it looks funny but the price is not rly fair at all. I mean this is (25€) here and that is a lot of cash for a game like this. And on top of that you must pay extra money to create your own prisonier in that game. Why?. Is it illegal to build a mod or something like that to make your own prisonier in the future?. Just strange...

The way I view the pricepoint is that I am supporting the devs while they build the game. I would even say that I have more than got my moneys worth of enjoyment out of it.

If you reallly want to, you can name a prisoner whatever you like by opening up the savefile. This however, is a temporary thing and will not show up in other prisons.

Like The_Hunted_one said you can make your own via the save file. What the pay to make a prisoner does is it makes a prisoner to your likeness that will apear in "everyone" elses game as well as your own.
