The price is what it is, and what it was when it was on sale. If that wasn't quite what you wanted, you will have to wait until the developers decide the price should change. It's their game, they can decide what to charge for it, and for all the positive or negative feedback one way or the other, it remains fully in the developers hands to do anything about this.
Hopefully it will be available to you at some point in the future.
It was just in the summer sale for $20.
The reason for the high price during alpha has been mentioned many times before.
Has anyone who has bought the game moaned about the price or is just people who want every game for little to nothing?
bug filled? a few bugs here and there but it is playable, so bug fulled? nope.
The AI's glitchy as hell, the graphics are glitchy, a bunch of the stuff doesn't work (I'm not talking about the stuff that states it isn't working ingame). Hell, even the trailers point out the bugs that are still in the game.
never had glitchy AI or graphics. yes the workmen tend to wobble around when trying to put toilets in the cells. "a bunch of the stuff doesn't work" like what? :o everything ingame for me works just fine.
Nowhere did they say the price was to make the game elitist. They wanted people who were going to contribute to the development of the game through bug reports, and they thought the way to do that was to price it high to keep out those who would complain about the game being buggy when it's unfinished.
Ok, here's a few. Utilities and walls don't mix well. Workers can get stuck on loop and never recover, also ensuring whatever job they glitched on won't get done. A bunch of rooms have requirements that aren't stated, generally resulting in weird bugs or just not working. Execution room doesn't work at all, outside of the tutorial same with the "security". The way doors work is retarded, leaving doctors/workers/chefs potentially trapped in rooms for hours at a time. I've had doors that just disappear, including the main front door which promptly triggered about 5 prisoners to try and break out. It also randomly crashes. Want me to go google some forums and see what other people have experienced?
go right ahead :D my PA works just fine. the execution room and security room got no use right now, but will be in the future. having enough guards and a smart enough set up will not leave staff headbanging into a door for hours. " A bunch of rooms have requirements that aren't stated", like what?
Why cant people search for the other 100s of threads about the same subjects and have their say in there? this forums are becoming ridiculous now...
edit, 2 many repeated words :P
i agree, this is a never ending "war" :P
