Cooks arent cooking enough.
I have High Quantity and my Cooks arent cooking enough food. When Lunch time is almost over they start to cook again but then its too late because they cant finish it before it ends.
I have enough incredients, enough serving tables, enough cooks and enough cookers but it still doesnt work.

A program may be using the cookers to teach the prisoners when you should be cooking to the lunch time.
if it is so, you need to have more cooks and cookers than students or just allocate the class to a better schedule.

I HAVE enough cooks and cookers. And i have some prisoners too.
And around 2 hours before lunchtime the cooks are just standing around doing nothing.

You obviously don't have enough of something. What happens if you double the number of cooks? Are all your cookers being used?

Here's another discussion similar to this one

There are a few links to charts and I posted a quick equation to figure out if you have enough equipment/staff for your kitchens. Don't just assume you have enough, do the math

****************************

If you like math and equations here's a quick reference.

8 prisoners = 1.2 cookers, 0.6 fridges, 0.3 Serving tables, 1 Table, 2 Benches, 0.6 Cooks, 0.4 power providers

(seeing as 4 power stations give off the same energy output as 1 station & 3 capacitors, I've simplified it to power providers and leave you to figure out how many of each)

I have like 10 cookers 6 cooks and minimal 4 prisoners. They are cooking on all cookers but 2 hours before lunchtime they just carry the food into the serving tables (but 1/4 of them are still empty) and idle around. then lunchtime starts and when the serving tables are empty they start to cook again.

You only have 4 prisoners??

I'd understand this happening with 400, heck even 40... but 4? 1 cook, 1 cooker, 1 fridge... is more than enough

4 prisoners in the kitchen. atm i have max 60 in my whole prison. 10 cookers 10 fridges 6 cooks 4 prísoners working in the kitchen 6 serving tables 12 tables 24 benches

You're correct then... the math is good.

I've not tried this, but I saw this suggested once in another thread. If you have a lot of excess food in storage, try dumping it.

Seems like that was the problem. I still had some pots of food in my storage. i will observe it a bit more.

Its working fine again after i removed all food pots from the storage.
But they are doing it again and again. they are always putting the leftovers of the food in the storage und i have to remove it every time by hand.

I've had this issue before! It's quite easy to fix, I'm pretty sure there will be lots of cooked food stored in your storage rooms; dump them all. They never use the cooked food in there but I think the code thinks that because there's that cooked food, they've cooked enough.
Just dump all the cooked food in your storage, and your :prisoner: will get enough food.
Oh sorry, just realised you've solved the issue, I didn't read the comments because I was just a bit too eager to answer it.
