You can even choose if they go up in category level via policy. If a catB prisoner commits murder, serious injury, attacks staff etc you can have them upped to CatA
Other crimes don't really need to add to the time in prison. Otherwise you could have a Low Sec prisoner who constantly steals or tries to dig sit in prison for 60 odd years.
In my prison, he has committed 13 murders, but his sentence is still 75 years and he will now spend it perpetually locked in his cell.
I'm not running the beta patch if that matters.
I've had one or two lads who were in for a 300 year vacation.
However, I have recently also seen a thread, in which somebody said that it seemingly does not work at the moment.
