Artemis!C3084FA59652 Tojan is detected by McAfee on TheRavenLauncher.exe
Artemis!C3084FA59652 Tojan is detected by McAfee on TheRavenLauncher.exe

Why is this happening?
This is the only game from my steam library that is reporting a malware.
I have even removed the file and redownloaded from steam, and same result.
Anyone can please confirm?

Thanks.

Same here. We had similar issue with Train Fever. Someone need to report this to Mcafee. Means you need to sent the file to Mcafee and they will "whitelist" it. I tried it myself but my mcafee refused to send it. Can you try please?

I am on the same issue, I am not able to send the file. It just fail sending.
I even emailed them some weeks ago about it. I never got a reply.

Can you just add the suspected file to the exclusion list?
Radical Zeal Dec 12, 2014 @ 3:03pm
No, it do not allows it. That was the first thing I tried.

I just sent an email to Mcafee, maybe this helps. I would appreciate if anyone could jump in and does the same.

That is something I already tried. However, I tried again after reading your post to be sure.

Once you are on your step 8, McAfee shows a message saying it can not add the file due to security risk, etc. And there seems to be no way to bypass that, so basically the program do not really allows you to decide what to exclude, because the program assumes it is right and you are wrong.

So here is the probably only solution you can go for: join me in, and report it to Mcafee as a false positve.
