when i try to tweak the ini file
it just says crashed on start up anyone know a work around?

Well you can just delete the ini file out of your user directory and it should be rebuilt with all the defaults. Other than that, there's no way to tell. You haven't told us what you're changing. I assume you're using Notepad to do the changes?
