Working Splitscreen 2018

This method is now outdated. I believe you can use OpenPlanet to access the old menu, where the Splitscreen option is located. The author of the old video made an updated one, which can be found here:

Once OpenPlanet and the classic menu is installed, try Scripts -> Classic menu -> Local play

I have not personally tried the OpenPlanet solution, but OpenPlanet is trusted by the community so trying this will not harm your computer.


Old solution (currently not working) ------------------------

There's a lot of threads around about the removed split-screen option, and I've noticed nobody has pointed out the current easy solution. You can still play split-screen you just have to make your own titlepack (which takes like 30 seconds) and it will load into the old version of the menu which has the split screen option. I've tried it and it works (2 and 4 player). There's a youtube video that can walk you through it. Obviously it's stupid they removed this from the default menu but the capability is still there.

**Update managed to get this working just need to click save after selecting your map add it to the playlist and it works like a charm!
