Controller Supported?

I've been playing Trackmania for a bit and I had noticed there was to no controller option, which I perform better with a controller, anyone know if there is one? or do I have to assign Controller buttons to keys again? -_-

trackmania supports every USB game controller
just plug it in and in your profile you can assign the buttons accordingly.

Controllers work but it is literally impossible to choose a specific track with a controller or keyboard in Trackmania 2 - Canyon/Stadium. You have to use a mouse.

Track selection used to work perfectly until something changed a few months ago and I haven't heard an update since.

I REALLY would like to be able to navigate through options using only the arrow keys and ENTER. This game doesn't need a mouse at all.

Same here, I play a lot of games split screen with two xbox controllers. Why do I need a separate mouse for the level select? Shouldn't be too hard to implement full controller support?

Does anyone know if this same problem exists in Canyon?

I was about to post that the problem also exists in Canyon but it looks like the latest patch got my controller working again! Both games are finally fixed.

If you use a PS3 Controller you'll need to install additional software - MotionJoy to get it running, but it will work. 360 Controllers are the easiest.

You can get DS4, which works like motionjoy and is much much better. The ps4 controller should be guaranted to work after that.

umm, i just had to use some rebinds and it worked

I have issues with Xbox one controller. It's connected with wire. But I cannot use rear buttons.

Have you tried binding them in the settings?

i'll try and find a solution. but I use a ps4 controller so I may not be much help.
