How does this game end? (Spoilers)

I beat it with my girlfriend. I remember playing through it and I have 20 hours in it. So how does it end? I know the dad is a writer. Did the sister kill herself or not?

You have 20 hours in the game and didn't pick up on any clues whatsoever about the story? The rest of us got it in less than 2..... she ran away with her gf.

No, obviously we played through and found all of the clues and codes to get into lockers. It has just been a while and didn't remember exactly how it ended. Thanks for the help!

Gone Home's best scene is that moment of sheer terror when you're convinced you're going to find Lonnie and Sam's corpses under the stairs, but instead they banished the ghost of Oscar who may or may not have existed (but whose hunt they bonded over) and ran away from home.
