Color of parts guide?

Has anyone figured out what the colors of parts mean? As in if I match 3 green parts is it worth more money? I've seen green, purple, blue, yellow parts but not sure what the color does. Also, some parts have 1 or 2 dots at the top of their icon, what do the dots mean?...

Getting the weapon parts.

Its fun so far. I would personally like a building system a lot more crazy simular to tarkov with like insane weapon descriptions and massive amounts of parts that are based on real life weapons. But thats way too extreme for this game. This is more of a very weird sim like arcade game. Its fun. Im hoping the developer adds more parts and more customer models. As well as maybe an online market in game for ordering parts straight to the storage rather than walking back and forth to the church. Also an inventory on character to store parts found on the map.
