Problem with trap achievement

I have a problem with getting achievement "Deadfall in it's beauty". I kill more than 50 mummies in Xibalba and more than 50 enemies in Jungle's Maya, but this achievement still locked. Perhaps, I should only use traps throwing spears, not fire?

I hope the developers see this. Did you go and check if your installation files don't have any bugs? Check under library, go to your game, click properties, then local files, then verifiy integrity of game cache.

Yes, I checked, did not help. The bug is still present, the achievement does not count.

same problem here, killing all possible enemies with traps during whole game don't unlock achievement for me too

No problem :) Many mummies and mirror in:
1) middle of "Mayan Tombs" level
and
2) end of level "Mayan City"

I just got this by reloading a checkpoint and replaying the first section with a mirror on Mayan Tombs. At first I simply ran through the light beam to lure the mummies into the trap but after several reloads and way more than 50 kills the achievement had not popped. So I 'entered' the mirror, swivelled it to burn the mummies and 'Deadfall in its beauty' popped after a few reloads. It seems that you have to actually enter the mirror for their deaths to count wowards the achievement.

Thank you! That worked nicely. Even if you die standing at that mirror (and reload the checkpoint), all the mummies killed in each attempt count towards the achievement.

BTW, for multiplayer achievement hunters, the trap achievement there "Hunter: Kill players 100 times using traps" requires specific traps, too, not just any trap. Keep an eye on your counter in the multiplayer stats. Some friends and myself achieved it with the trap in the map called "Forbidden", where spikes are coming out of the ground in a passage.
Fire traps like in Anubis for example do not count. Tripwire grenade traps do not count either.
