White sphere in a circular building

Hi there,

New to this game but enjoying it so far! Does anyone know what these white spheres are in circular buildings? Since I did the red planet - all the planets I've gone to have had these and they take me straight back to my ship. Does it mean they've already been renamed by someone? Also how do we know which stars have no tbeen visited before?

Still new myself, but yes, the white spheres take you out of the planet and back into your ship. Plants that haven't been explored yet have a code of 3 letters and some numbers, like LUE-82. Once you discover the white orb on these new planets, you will get to name them.

Thanks Horus. I think I found an anomaly planet tonight but I cannot figure the puzzle out yet! Will see if I can find another unamed planet.
