There are a certain number of planets you have to visit before you can pass to the next season. Try every control in the ship and see what they do, be systematic. Try them in different combinations.
The planets are not the same. Each has a different set of buildings and a different way you solve it. Some are really short, some very long. Make sure you really warped to a different system.
I wouldn't say that I am just made for this game, but I know I like different games. I have played my fair share of indie games and I like how they are different. I also like to play more casual games but this is one of the games I play in between, like a break to do something else. I am not mad for playing the game at all, I just played the same thing long enough to think I was doing something wrong.
But what about now? did you figure everything out?
As for the ship console, its a very simple mechanic. So after completeing a star and naming , the cartridge automatically moves to the right slot and locks in place (greys out). What this does is power the navigation systems. Now;
Play with the three navigational controls on the right hand side for a bit, so you can get the hang of them. (there is a button on the bottom right corner, disregard.)
you should find that one control moves the crosshair on the monitor on a flat axis, the triangle control under it moves the view of the monitor on a 3rd dimensional axis, and the lever that is closer to the center might not do anything. The lever only works when you are targeting a planet, and once you pull the lever with a planet targeted, the entire control console zooms out. This also causes a dotted line to appear on the monitor, coming from the targeted planet. This dotted line ends in a diamond. What you have to do then is use the two navigational controls to get the dotted line to center with the planet in your crosshairs.
Once you do that, wait. Underneath the cartridge, there is a bar, and it might be black. This is a loading bar, essentially. It should fill up in time, whether it takes a couple of second or minutes. Once the bar fills, the cartridge will automatically move to the other dock, allowing you to visit the planet.
Hope this made sense!
